The PADI Master Scuba Diver Course is the black belt of non-professional diving and is the highest recreational diving qualification. Explore the underwater world like never before. Do it by becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver - a rating that puts you in a class of distinction. You earn it by diving it, writing your ticket to endless adventure through the experience and training that sets you apart as a PADI Master Scuba Diver. With the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, you've reached the highest non professional level in the PADI System of diver education. It means that you've acquired significant training and experience in a variety of dive environments.

Course requirements and essential information:

  • Have a minimum of 50 logged dives
  • Be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
  • Be certified as a PADI Rescue Diver or Junior Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organisation)
  • You need to be a minimum of 15 years of age*
  • Have a reasonable level of fitness and health and be fit to dive
  • Have your own mask, snorkel, fins and wet suit/dry suit

In order to become a Master Scuba Diver you will need to be certified with 5 PADI Specialties and you can choose from any of the specialties below:

  1. AWARE Fish Identification

  2. Boat

  3. Deep

  4. Digital Underwater Photographer

  5. Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV)

  6. Drift

  7. Enriched Air Nitrox Diver (EANx)

  8. Multilevel and Computer

  9. Night

  10. Peak Performance Buoyancy (PPB)

  11. Search & Recovery

  12. Underwater Naturalist

  13. Underwater Navigator

  14. Underwater Photographer

Course price: This all depends on which specialties you need to complete to make your total of 5.

Not included in the course price:

  • Course materials (course materials are available on request from Another World Diving) 
  •  Transport (we will assist where possible) 
  •  Overnight/weekend stays (where necessary) 
  •  Food and beverages 
  •  Wet suit/dry suit hire (if required) 
  •  Entrance fees to dive sites (where necessary)

 

Important note

All Advanced Open Water Diver course students are required to sign a PADI Medical Statement, Divers Medical Questionnaire, Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement of Understanding and Statement of Risks and Liability. Additionally students are required to sign the Another World Diving Learning Agreement and Terms and Conditions.

If the student has any of the medical conditions listed on the Medical Questionnaire then signed clearance from a doctor, valid within 12 months, will be required.

All students *under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when undertaking the course. Additionally the parent/guardian is required to complete and sign the above-mentioned forms.
